Data Encryption - Fall 2005

This team will explore options for data encryption on the desktop as well as support for data encryption over the network within our current framework of supported products and services. It will also consider options for extending use of PGP to support both encryption and signing for selected audiences. The team will be expected to refine the scope, define requirements and selection criteria, develop test scripts, identify candidate products, do testing, and then make recommendations to IT Roundtable. The team will also maintain a web site to enable others to stay informed regarding their progress, and will create draft documentation for LSPs and end users as appropriate.
