Fall 2005 Product Evaluations - Charge to TeamsThe teams are expected to refine scope, define requirements and selection criteria, develop test scripts, identify candidate products, do testing, and make recommendations to IT Roundtable. The teams must also create draft documentation for LSPs and end users as appropriate. See the Standards & Supported Products Process web page for a more detailed outline of the roles and responsibilities of the evaluation team. The team leaders will be asked to present at Super User Group and IT Roundtable meetings to present progress, issues, and recommendations, and are also expected to maintain a web site to enable others on campus to stay informed regarding these efforts. Good examples of past supported product evaluation web sites are at: http://www.upenn.edu/computing/group/emtf/ In general, we would like these efforts to complete over a 6 week period from the beginning of November through the beginning to middle of December. |
