Strategies for Green IT at Penn - Spring 2008
Although not a traditional product/technology evaluation team, which is charged with selecting a product for Penn's suite of supported products, the Green IT team will meet on the same schedule as the other spring teams.
The team will be charged with researching, developing, and documenting a list of recommendations of actions that IT departments and users could take to "green up" their standard way of operating. Specific deliverables will include adding to the current list of consumption information about computing technology commonly deployed at Penn. The team will develop content for both users and LSPs along with providing a list of resources, both internal and external to Penn, which are useful to departments and individuals in their greening effort.
