Meeting Minutes

1.  Update: 
-IMAP Server & Test Accounts -- Peggy and Mark
Peggy announced that 

 2.   Time Frame & Meeting Schedule:

April -- 4 weeks on Thursdays
4/8/99 -- 12:30 - 2:00 Bits & Pieces Room, Grad Tower B
4/15/99 -- 1:00 - 2:30 ISC Networking Conference Room, 3401 Walnut
4/22/99 -- 1:00 - 2:30 Bits & Pieces Room, Grad Tower B
4/29/99 -- 1:00 - 2:30 ISC Networking Conference Room, 3401 Walnut

The date and time is still agreeable with everyone on the team.  Two of the
team members announced that they will have to miss 1 out of the 4 remaining
meetings.

3.  Test Script:

-Re-visit the Strength & Weaknesses listed for Messenger in last year's effort.
Team agreed we need to re-test the weaknesses in Messenger identified during
last year's effort.  Specifically we are looking at the following weaknesses:

          --When importing messages from Eudora some read messages are marked as unread.
         --When you the trash model messages moved to the trash are not deleved even after the trash is emptied by the client.
         --Filtering does not work on messages are already read.
         --Netscape does not filter messages read in elm.

-Finalize the test script for Messenger 4.51
         --A number of sections in the test script must be re-written.

4.  Assign team members to test Messenger on various platforms:

-Mac (PPC) - running Mac OS 7.6.1 & Mac OS 8.5.1
       --Joe Harris, Andy Diller, Sarah Nachmias, & Magida Phillips

-PC - running Windows 95, 98, & NT.
     --Mark Sirota, Don Fry, Hal Dell, Shumon Huque, Sarah Nachmias,
        & Magida Phillips
