In FY2002, ISC N&T will continue building the Next Generation PennNet infrastructure using the $837k of allocated monies. Before requesting funding for FY2003, a revised plan will be presented to the EVP for approval.
In the FY2003-07 budget, it is assumed that the NGP project will continue. Sources of funding include: 1) allocated monies while they exist; 2) Telecommunications; 3) College Houses; 4) the CSF in the out years after the allocated monies are phased out.
It is assumed that no additional RFDF monies will be received beyond FY2002 for Internet2.
It needs to be determined when the CSF can bear the full cost of the Internet2.
