Super User Group

The Super User Group facilitates information exchange among those within the University of Pennsylvania community who provide technical support, service, or IT direction. Membership is open to those at the University and in the extended Penn community with a strong interest in computing and information technology at Penn.

Information exchange and technical support are facilitated through monthly meetings and a distribution list..

Mike Palladino will review major initiatives and service enhancements for PennNet, AirPennNet, PennNet Phone, and a host of other of services provided by ISC Networking & Telecommunications.

Service and Product updates

Josh Beeman will provide an update on the implementation of an Intrusion Detection System at Penn. John Mulhern III will preview the recommended hardware configurations for FY 2014, and the Penn-Cloud service team will be available to answer questions related to that new service offering.

Michel van der List, Solutions Director for ISC, will discuss Penn's approach and the benefits that come with establishing relatinonships with preferred cloud service providers.

Dawn Augustino from ISC Networking & Telecommunications will provide an update about the PennNet Phone service, and Mark Wehrle & Jeff Ballentine from ISC Networking & Telecommunications will provide an update to changes being made to Guest registration for AirPennNet.
