and see HDTV streaming technology with examples of 5.6 Mbps and 19.2 Mbps streams.
Improved cable TV programming, productions and special satellite events round
out the applications that will be presented by Penn Video Network.
SUG will join in a videoconference over MAGPI. IP based video conferencing
features point-to-point and multi-point communication among users utilizing
affordable, and easy-to-learn software & hardware. Advances in video networking
has made for very impressive performance improvements, over relatively economical
bandwidth to the desktop or a conference room. We will also look at a special
Access Grid application over MAGPI.
Everyone is welcome to come back to new ISC videoconference rooms in Suite
232A at 3401 Walnut after the Houston Hall meeting for a tour of these new facilities.
