How To Use Outlook Web Access Light With Exchange (Mac OS 10.2.x/10.4.x; Windows XP/Vista)

This document provides instructions for using Outlook Web Access Light with Microsoft Exchange-based email and calendaring.

To use Outlook Web Access Light, you must be running recent versions of Firefox, Safari, or Internet Explorer. Users of Internet Explorer may prefer to run Outlook Web Access, which includes some features and capabilities that Outlook Web Access Light lacks.

  1. Launch Firefox, Safari, or Internet Explorer.
  2. Navigate to http://webmail.exchange.upenn.edu
  3. Click either the This is a public or shared computer or the This is a private computer radio button as is appropriate.
  4. Verify that Use Outlook Web Access Light is enabled.
  5. In the User name: field, enter your email name.
  6. In the Password: field, enter your email password.
  7. Click the Log On button. Your Inbox will load.
