AirPennNet for Mac OS 10.5Apple's latest version of Mac OS, Mac OS 10.5 Leopard, has implemented a new interface for connecting to wireless networks. Follow the instructions below to manually configure your Mac OS 10.5 system to connect to AirPennNet. Important notes: Penn's supported 802.1X supplicant, Internet Connect, does not function with Mac OS 10.5. Do not install the Internet Connect supplicant preferences from the Fall 2008 PennConnect DVD (or earlier editions), or from the Supported Products web page. It is strongly recommended that users upgrade to a recent version of Mac OS 10.5 (at least Mac OS 10.5.4) for significantly improved handling of 802.1X. If you have a pre-existing AirPennNet configuration from a previous installation of the Internet Connect component from PennConnect, you must remove it first by following these instructions. This also important if you have an obsolete AirSAS connection or an 802.1X connection from another university or a corporation. Troubleshooting information is located below.
