PennWorks Will Add New Feature

A new feature, Additional Pay Pre-Work, will be added to PennWorks, the web-based front-end to the HR/Payroll system.
The new Additional Pay Pre-Work will be a collaborative project between ISC, Human Resources, the Division of Finance, and the Provost’s Office.
PennWorks standardizes data collection while providing a more intuitive tool for users. This makes it easier to collect and process staff/faculty job/salary data, provides easier access to information, and reduces data entry through integration with other systems.
The new Additional Pay Pre-Work feature will allow employees or faculty to submit a request for additional pay for extra work outside someone’s normal areas of responsibility. This will ensure those with budget and compensation responsibility have time to review and approve arrangements before resources are committed to begin the work.
