Business Continuity

The best defense is still a good offense. That's why ISC makes business continuity a core part of its Data Center services. Working to identify industry standards, benchmark best practices, and negotiate with vendors to achieve economies of scale, ISC provides a comprehensive set of business continuity services to schools and departments that house their servers and LANs in its Data Center. These valuable services reduce risks to administrative data, increase disaster preparedness, and enable mission-critical systems to continue in the event of disruptions ranging from insufficient backup, major hardware failures, and permanent damage to disk storage facilities, to the lack of facilities and forethought to test prepared plans of action before disaster strikes.

Business continuity services for servers located in the ISC Data Center include:

  • Assisting in developing a business case
  • Developing and implementing the business continuity plan
  • Maintaining and testing the business continuity plan

For assistance in developing an IT business continuity and recovery plan for servers and LANs housed in the ISC Data Center, call 215.898.4395.
