Email services are billed monthly. Charges for accounts and for extra quota will be prorated (i.e. if you cancel an account on the 15th of the month, you will only be charged for 15 days). Departments are responsibile for reviewing and maintaining their email accounts on a routine basis. Accounts for employees who have left or transferred will continue to be billed until the email administrator for your department has deleted them. Please contact your email administrator if you have questions about how to review your email account lists.

If the server is upgraded during the year all client licenses will be upgraded automatically at no extra charge.

Virtual Domain Service

Our Virtual Domain service option allows you to alias your server with a hostname that reflects your organization so that mail can be addressed like:

username@mail.organization.upenn.edu

Organizations with 500 or more user accounts will not be charged an initial setup fee. Any organization with fewer than 500 user accounts will be charged a one-time fee for the staff time required to set up such hosting - 1 hour at the current rate of $110/hour. All organizations will be charged a yearly certificate fee.

**Costs for an associated Forward-only account will be waived for an Exchange account.
