Quick Service Tips: Enhance Student Learning

Academic Movie Channel Requests

Every month, the PVN Movie Channels (Channels 11 & 22) feature films to supplement academic courses. Over 40 professors, student groups, and academic departments are supported each year. Take a look at our current featured classes list to see what students are watching this term.

Videoconferencing

Want to offer your students the opportunity to hear an out-of-town colleague speak? Why not offer a "traveling lecture" using our videoconferencing service? Videoconferencing is a fully-interactive, "virtual meeting" between two or more groups or individuals, at two or more geographically-separated points. You can use either your own computer and a network connection or reserve an on-campus videoconference room. Conference rooms are connected to high bandwidth (Internet2) and can support high-definition, two-way viewing. It's easy to set up a videoconference during one of your class meetings!
