Close-Out Phase : Perform Administrative Close-Out
The purpose of this activity is to preserve the project repository in an organized fashion that will facilitate possible future analysis of historical data, to identify project deliverables that can serve as examples to other projects, and to perform other administrative duties as needed to close out the project. These other duties include finalization and approval of any SLA and product budget projections.

PRESERVED PROJECT ARTIFACTS
OPTIONAL - PROJECT ARTIFACT EXAMPLE REPOSITORY
PMAP is continually enhanced by actual successful project experiences. If a project has generated a particularly notable deliverable, either in content or style, it should be retained in a common Global Example Library for possible reuse by other projects.
In addition, the project management environment at Penn can be enhanced by the accumulation of factual historical data that can be used to derive better estimates, identify trends, or develop further PMAP guidance. To that end, it is important to organize and preserve project artifacts.
