Execution Phase : Manage Project Budget
The purpose of this activity is to manage and control the project budget against established commitments and ensure common understanding about those commitments as they evolve with the project.

CURRENT PROJECT BUDGET
Impact on the project budget needs to be considered whenever changes to the scope or schedule occur and when a greater understanding of the operational costs of the product emerges. The project budget should be revised and rebaselined whenever the scope and schedule are rebaselined. For projects following an iterative approach, the budget should be rebaselined as necessary at the beginning of each iteration.
