Adobe CS4 Lunchtime Learning

Creative Suite 4 is a milestone release of the industry-leading design and development software for virtually every creative workflow. Delivering radical workflow breakthroughs and packed with hundreds of feature innovations, the Creative Suite 4 product line advances the creative process across print, Web, mobile, interactive, film and video production.
The CS4 updates, which number into the hundreds, mainly concern workflow, that is, when you work with objects in one program, how well those adjustments are tracked and understood by the various other applications. In this Lunchtime Learning, ONLC Training Center’s CS4 Expert, David Rabian, will provide a high level overview of some of the CS4 products (Photoshop, In-Design, Illustrator, Dreamweaver) and some of their newest features.
Windows 7 Lunchtime Learning

Microsoft’s Windows 7 is scheduled for release on October 22. In this Lunchtime Learning, New Horizons will provide a high level overview of some of the new features and enhancements in the Windows 7 operating system including:
- New Productivity Enhancements - User Interface Enhancements, Internet Explorer 8, Federated Search – External data bases web services & SharePoint
- Enhanced Security and Control - DirectAccess, BranchCache, AppLocker, BitLocker-to-Go, Windows Power Shell (Integrated Scripting Environment –enforces Group Policy enforcement)
- Windows XP Compatibility options via Microsoft Enterprise Desktop Virtualization (MED-V) & Windows XP Mode (XPM) fully functioning copy of Windows XP SP3 running in a virtual machine provided by Virtual PC
- New Windows 7 deployment best practices and tools for migrating from Windows XP
Both Lunchtime Learning sessions will be held in the Bits & Pieces room - Room 306, Sansom Place West - 37th & Chestnut
