After installing the email software from the PennConnect DVD, do the following:
Personalize Your Email
- Get instructions on how to configure Thunderbird (Macintosh,
or Windows),
Mail (Macintosh), and
Outlook 2003 (Windows).
- If you're not sure which email software you should use, contact your School,
department, or Local Support Provider (LSP).
Download Supported Media Players
QuickTime, RealPlayer 10, Flip4Mac, and Windows Media Player are not automatically
installed from the PennConnect DVD. They can be downloaded from the Supported
Media Players web page. After installation, a plug-in for each application
will
be
installed for
each
web
browser on your
hard drive.
Configure NewsWatcher MT-Newswatcher (Macintosh
users only)
Instructions on configuring NewsWatcher, the Macintosh news client, is available in Configuration Instructions: NewsWatcher.
