During Your Enrollment: Academic, Auxiliary, and Other Services

While enrolled at Penn, students can perform many routine administrative functions quickly and conveniently via the ever-expanding campus network of online and electronic services.

Academic Services. Students can use PennInTouch, a comprehensive student services clearinghouse, virtually anywhere by phone or via the Internet. You can drop/add courses, view transcripts, check the status of loans and financial aid packages, view a bursar's bill summary, update your mailing address, vote in student elections, and locate student employment opportunities -- all through one convenient portal.

PennInTouch is also integrated with Advisor-in-Touch, a complementary application for advisors. Through a convenient web interface, each student and his or her advisors can view timely, accurate information about the student's academic history. Advisors may examine the student's current class schedule, academic record, prior advising notes, and other information necessary to help the student make well-informed curriculum-planning decisions. Both students and advisors have access to a helpful "curriculum worksheet" function, allowing them to construct and compare different scenarios for meeting requirements towards graduation and towards potential or actual majors. Advisors can view these options and other academic profile information with a student in real time, whether together or from a different locations, and can perform administrative tasks online as well, granting maximum flexibility to everyone involved in the planning process.

Auxiliary Services. Penn's innovative Campus Express Online website serves as a portal for several key auxiliary services, including University housing, dining, telecommunications, mail services, the Bookstore, and more. Campus Express Online enables you to apply for on-campus housing assignments or search for off-campus housing; select dining contracts, or purchase addtional flexible dining credits or dining dollars; activate, discontinue, or modify telelphone service; and much more. For a detailed description of all the services that Campus Express offers, you can download a copy of the Campus Express Online brochure (PDF format, requires free Acrobat Reader).

Other Services. Students can find convenient and free Internet banking services through Penn's Student Financial Credit Union (SFCU), the nation's largest student-run credit union, with 4,000+ accounts and over $7 million in assets. Through Net.Pay, the Office of Student Financial Services enables students and their families to receive Penn Monthly Student Account Billing Statements over the web, and to submit payments online, using an electronic interface with the bank of their choice.
