PennTIPS Member Services

The PennTIPS service works in a cooperative organizational model. Participating members possess the relevant expertise and work together in support of the service.

Support structure for the PennTIPS service:

Member Services team: The PennTIPS Member Services team handles routine account administration and provides initial training on use of the application for the unit. Requests for customization or additional reports are submitted to the Member Services team, which prioritize requests and implement enhancements based on their value to all participating units.

Participating units are expected to contribute staff time to support of the PennTIPS service through participation in Member Services.

The service relies on cooperative support for:

• Systems Administration: Oracle Database Administrators & AIX Administrator - ISC/Systems Engineering and Operations
• Data : Data Analysts - ISC/Data Administration
• Application Design: ARS Central Administrators - ISC/Technology Support Services
• Help Desks Configuration: Participating departments Help Desk Administrators
