Computing videos at The Movie Ticket
By Kathy Burgess
Macintosh and PC computer training
videos can now be rented from
the Movie Ticket in Houston Hall. The Computing Resource Center has set
up this service both to provide an alternative to those who prefer self-
paced instruction and to extend training to useful topics not covered in
CRC courses. The videos are also suitable for presentation to a class
or department.
The Movie Ticket is located on the first floor of Houston Hall
(near the Post Office). Video rental is $2.50 a day. A credit card
impression with your signature is required for all individual rentals.
University departments may use a purchase order ($20 or more). For
information, call CRC training, 898-9085, or The Movie Ticket, 222-0101.
Here are highlights of the releases currently available. Some
video packages include a diskette with lesson files and
a workbook to guide you through hands-on exercises.
