ISC-Supported Networking Software.

All ISC-supported software, except MicroPhone Pro, is available from ISC distribution points. MicroPhone Pro is available for purchase at the Computer Connection. You may also be able to obtain some of the software from your School. Both Wharton and the Medical School offer software distribution services.

ISC diskette distribution: The Computing Resource Center (CRC), at 3732 Locust Walk, distributes selected Macintosh and Windows PC software. Please bring along a supply of new, unformatted high-density (HD) disks.

Macintosh software. MacTCP/MacSLIP Distribution disks (two disks; includes Fetch, Netscape, and NCSA Telnet), Network Software Installer (one disk), and Disinfectant antiviral software (one disk).

Windows PC software. PPP Package (three disks; includes Netscape), EUSI Distribution (one disk containing software needed for a campus Ethernet connection), and Vi-Spy antiviral software (one disk).

FTP file server distribution: The server contains all of the Macintosh software except MacSlip and MicroPhone Pro, and all Windows PC software except Novell's TCP/IP, Novell's DIALER, and MicroPhone Pro. Access is via ftp.upenn.edu; use authenticated FTP (enter your Network ID when prompted for a User ID and your Network password when prompted for a password.

AppleShare file server distribution: The server contains all supported Macintosh software, except MacSLIP and MicroPhone Pro. Access is via the AppleTalk zone "UPenn-ISC-DCCS." Select the "Penn_Software" file server, and log in as user "Penn" with password "Penn."
