ProAlert - Automated Voicemail Notification for Providers

The ProAlert voicemail notification service was developed in response to requests from Local Support Providers for improved communication regarding major service disruptions on PennNet. Local Support Providers who subscribe to the service are notified via voicemail whenever there is a "major" outage. The messages sent are marked urgent, and participants are able to initiate outcalling to a pager or alternate phone number when they receive an alert by setting the options within their voice mailbox.

Please note that for subscribers wishing for alerts to be sent to a work related voice mailbox, this service is currently limited to individuals with a mailbox within Penn's traditional (Octel) voicemail system. We hope to expand the service to PennNet phone users in the coming year.
