Entourage 2004 (Mac OS)

Microsoft's Entourage 2004 is among several email clients in use on campus, and is not supported by all schools and units. Please refer to the document Email Specifications by School, or speak with your local support provider to find out which e-mail client is recommended for your use.

Important note: Entourage 2004 is the only version of Entourage that is suppported at the University.

Entourage 2004 is a graphical email client for Mac OS that accesses mail on remote servers. To use Entourage 2004, you need access to PennNet and an account on either a mail server running IMAP or POP, such as dolphin or pobox, or a Microsoft Exchange Server.

Availability

Entourage 2004 is a component of Office 2004. Office 2004 is commercial software that can be purchased from the Computer Connection at an educational discount.

Microsoft software is now available to University of Pennsylvania departments through the Microsoft Select Program, a volume license agreement. A detailed description of the Microsoft Program including product information and a FAQ has been prepared by the Office of Software Licensing. All purchases of Microsoft Select software are made through the Computer Connection.
