Microsoft Excel 2003 & 2007 (Windows XP/Vista)
Note: Microsoft Excel 2007 for Windows uses a new default file format (.xlsx instead of .xls) that other versions of Excel for Windows and Mac OS cannot access. Users of Excel 2002 and Excel 2003 for Windows can install the Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack to read Excel 2007 files in their default format; however, converters for Excel for Mac are not yet available, so Excel for Mac users can't open Excel 2007 files at this time. For more important information on Office 2007 for Windows, see the Computing News article here.
