Internet Connect 1.2 (Mac OS 10.4.x)

802.1x logo

Internet Connect 1.2 is the recommended 802.1X configurator for Mac OS 10.4.x users accessing AirPennNet. To use Internet Connect 1.2.0, you need a wireless networking card that supports at least 802.11b (WiFi) and preferably 802.11g. Most notebook computers come equipped with this wireless capability.

Internet Connect 1.2 includes the settings for AirPennNet and uses Apple's built-in Internet Connect application. It works with the Mac OS 10.4.x versions of Apple's Internet Connect application.

The Internet Connect 1.2 installer does not work correctly with newer versions of the Mac OS because Apple has significantly revised the network interface. Instructions for connecting manually to AirPennNet are available for Mac OS 10.5.x and Mac OS 10.6.

Download

Internet Connect 1.2 is available free of charge to members of the Penn community and is available for download using your PennKey and password.

The file will automatically unzip and place an installer on the desktop. Double-click the installer icon and follow the on-screen instructions accepting the defaults. After you finish, you can delete the installation file from the desktop.

Configuration and Use
