Safari 5.1.x & 6.0.x (OS X)

Apple's Safari is a University supported web browser for OS X.

OS X Mountain Lion Compatibility

Safari 6.0.x ships with and functions correctly in OS X Mountain Lion.

Availability

OS X

  • Safari 4.0.x is included in the initial default install of OS X Snow Leopard but can be updated to Safari 5.1 through Software Update.
  • Safari 5.1.x is included in the initial default install of OS X Lion but can be updated to Safari 6.0.x through Software Update.
  • Safari 6.0.x is included in the initial default install of OS X Mountain Lion.
