Connecting iOS to AirPennNet

These instructions allow you to connect your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad with iOS 4.x or later to AirPennNet wireless access points on campus. Users can connect via the AirPennNet-Help wireless network (where available), or by visiting the XpressConnect page directly. Those who have previously connected their device to AirPennNet should first remove the profile via the 'Settings', 'General', 'Profiles' menu.

Instructions

1. Devices connected to a cellular data service can visit the following page directly. Those without will have to connect to AirPennNet-Help first. Once connected, from the iOS Safari browser, visit the following TinyURL:
2. When prompted that you will need to enter a PennKey and Password, tap OK

An 'Install Profile' screen will appear, with a green 'Verified' confirmation.

Select Install.

4. A 'Warning' page will appear, indicating new Root Certificates will be installed. Select Install.

5. Enter your PennKey username and password, and tap Next.

5a. If you are using an iOS 4.x or 5.x device, you will see a slightly different login prompt:

6. Once the AirPennNet Profile has been installed, tap Done.

7. The iPhone should now be joined to AirPennNet
