Home Computing Support for Penn Faculty and Staff
To address the growing need for computing support for Penn faculty and staff at their homes BizTech Helpers has been identified as a local provider of these services.

BizTech and HomePC Helpers offers on-site and telephone/remote technical services (setup, configuration, troubleshooting) within the greater Philadelphia area at their standard Penn rate, which is a 10% discount off their regular rates.
Onsite service is charged at $86.40 for the first hour and $43.20 per additional one-half hour. There is a $40 dispatch charge in addition for weekday appointments and $80 for evening or weekend appointments. Estimate of time/cost to be provided at end of initial hour, if job will take longer. (Pricing current as of January 2009.)
There are some fixed-price services as well, where business is conducted in the BizTech Helpers shop, such as reinstalling Windows, etc. Contact the company directly for price information. In-shop (carry-in) service is $72.00 for diagnosis and simple fixes (less than one hour). Customer will be called for approval if estimate exceeds initial charge.
There is a $32 charge for missed appointments.
