Identifying the IP address of a Palm OS Smartphone

In some troubleshooting scenarios, its helpful to know what network address your smartphone is receiving from the cellular carrier. The following instructions will show you how to get that information:

NOTE: You will need to make sure that you initiate a network connection in order to pull down an IP address to your handheld.

1. Starting with the main application screen, click on Prefs
2. Under the Communcations section, select Network
3. In the Network screen, bring up the menu and select Options, View Log.
4. The Network Log screen will show you the IP address as well as additional networking information about the connection.
