Flash Player 9.0 (Mac OS; Windows)

Security advisory: multiple security vendors have reported and Adobe has acknowledged an unpatched vulnerability in Flash Player 9.0 for Mac OS and Windows that could allow remote code execution. Adobe is investigating and will provide a fix as soon as possible.

Flash Player 9.0 is on the supported products list for Fiscal 2009.

Information Systems & Computing expects Adobe to release Flash and Flash Player 10.0 sometime in mid calendar 2008. A public beta of Flash Player 10.0 is available here.

Windows Vista Compatibility

Flash Player 9.0 functions correctly in the 32-bit versions of Windows Vista.

Mac OS 10.5 Leopard Compatibility

Flash Player 9.0 functions correctly in Mac OS 10.5.x Leopard.
