SecureW2 is the recommended 802.1X-based authentication application for Windows XP and Windows Vista users accessing AirPennNet or AirSAS. To use SecureW2, you need access to PennNet and a wireless networking card that supports at least 802.11b (WiFi) and preferably 802.11g. Information Systems & Computing expects to support an updated version of SecureW2 called SecureW2 EAP Suite in Fiscal 2009. Users whose laptops have third-party software that controls their network connections will generally need to remove this software to sucessfully connect to AirPennNet or AirSAS.
