Uploading and Downloading Files via FTP to origin.www.upenn.edu

The transfer of files to and from origin.www.upenn.edu is accomplished via the SFTP protocol with a supported product for FTP. Follow the download links below for Windows (WS_FTP Professional 12.2) or Mac OS (Fetch 5.6) and consult the subsequent instructions to configure your FTP client. Alternatively, you can also use Dreamweaver (Windows or Mac OS).

Windows

WS_FTP Professional 12.2

1. Download and install WS_FTP Professional 12.2 from the Supported Products site.
2. Follow the instructions to configure WS_FTP Professional to use SFTP on origin.www.upenn.edu .

Dreamweaver CS4 and CS5

1. Review the Dreamweaver CS4 and CS5 Supported Products page for information and local availability.
2. Follow the instructions to configure Dreamweaver to use SFTP on origin.www.upenn.edu .

Mac OS

Fetch 5.6

1. Download and install Fetch 5.6 from the Supported Products site.
2. Follow the instructions to configure Fetch to use SFTP on origin.www.upenn.edu .
