Aid4Mail (XP/Vista)

Fookes Software's Aid4Mail is a Windows tool that helps you migrate email messages to a different mail client, export them for viewing through Internet Explorer, MS Excel, or a database, convert them to extract or re-insert attachments, and archive them to save space or for compliance with legal requirements. It supports many client/server email clients and processes messages quickly and faithfully, including those with file attachments and embedded contents like pictures and background images. Aid4Mail can also export message status information such as "unread", "read", "replied", and "forwarded" from many mail clients.

Aid4Mail is site licensed at Penn and is available free of charge to members of the Penn community. Aid4Mail is available for download using your PennKey and password.

Click on the download link below. Because of the limited site license, you will need to fill out and submit a form before the software will download to your machine. After you submit the form, in the "Save As" window, create or go to the directory in which you want to save the file, append .exe to the file name if it is not already there, and click "Save". Open this directory, double-click the installation file, and follow the on-screen instructions accepting the defaults. After you finish, you can delete the installation file.
