Boot Camp

Apple's Boot Camp allows users to install and dual-boot Microsoft Windows on their Intel-based Macs. This is not virtualization, such as VMWare Fusion or Parallels, so Mac OS and Windows cannot be run simultaneously.

Boot Camp is useful for software programmers, website designers, and gamers who do not own traditional Windows computers and need to run Windows software on their Mac computer.
