Virtual PC (for the Mac)
Microsoft's Virtual PC for Mac is an application that makes it possible to access and use PC-only applications, files, networks, and devices from a PowerPC G3, G4, or G5-based Mac. Information Systems & Computing (ISC) suggests Virtual PC for Mac for relatively light use - if users find that they are using Virtual PC more than 20% of the time they should probably do this work on a 'real' PC from Dell or Lenovo.
Important note: Virtual PC 7.0.x does not function on Apple's Intel-based Macs, such as the Intel iMac and the MacBook Pro. An update that functions with Intel-based Macs will not be made available - users interested in this functionality should investigate Apple's Boot Camp, Parallels Desktop, and VMWare's Fusion.
