Piloting and extending the new model
Penn is piloting and extending a new model for computing
services. The model was developed in the fall of 1995 by a
University task force
charged with making computing easier and more cost-effective at
Penn. The model will guide organizational change over the next
several years. Pilots are testing aspects of the model and creating
the realities of the new structure.
