How to access files and services from off-campus locations
On April 11, 2006, the University will begin to block or redirect
some Internet traffic coming to on-campus Windows-based servers and desktop
systems. These "edge-filtering" measures will help protect Penn's
network from future virus and worm outbreaks.
This section provides links to instructions for accessing files,
network shares, and MS Exchange-based email and calendaring from off-campus
locations. Since many of the services to which you need access are administered
by your School or Center, you should consult with your LSP
as soon as possible to determine which, if any, of these instructions are necessary
for you to continue accessing your email, calendar, and shared files from off-campus.
