Primary Support Services

Primary computing support is usually located in the schools, units, and residences, close to the faculty, staff, and students being served. Contact lists are available for faculty, staff, & students. To look up your local support provider, select your University affiliation below:

Faculty and staff, in almost all cases, are referred to their school, center, or department for assistance. You may also call First Call at 215-573-4778 to request a referral if you are not sure who to contact.

Students living in the College Houses and Mayer Hall receive computing support from Information Technology Advisors (ITA's), fellow students who also live in their residence. See the College House Computing web site or call 215-573-4052 for more information.

Students living off-campus, in Sansom Place East or West will receive their computing support from ISC's Computing Resource Center (CRC) and First Call (215-573-4778). The CRC is located at Sansom Place West, 3650 Chestnut St., Suite 202, and is open 2-4:30, M-F. Help is also available via e-mail at help@isc.upenn.edu. Some of these students may have additional support in their schools.

Students in a fraternity or sorority house can obtain support via the Greek ITA system by writing to greekita-help@pobox.upenn.edu. Greek students may be referred to the CRC by the Greek ITA system at certain times throughout the year.

The Computing Resource Center (CRC) serves the entire community as ISC's walk-in distribution point for supported software.
