Welcome to the Virus Information Page- Top ways to protect your data Supported Antivirus Software 2007-2008Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition and Norton AntiVirus are the University's supported antivirus products for Windows and Mac OS operating systems. Symantec AntiVirus for Handhelds Corporate Edition is the University's supported antivirus product for Palm OS and Pocket PC handheld devices. Updating your antivirus software is the only way to keep your system protected from new viruses. Users should schedule automatic updates to occur daily (Windows) or weekly (Mac OS and handhelds) to update against any newly discovered viruses. However, in the event of a virus emergency, users can update the virus definition files manually.
