PennNet Phone Planned Features

PennNet Phone is evolving, with new features being added over time. Below is a list of substantial new features and functionality being considered or worked on.

Feature Description Planned Release Date
Scheduled Setting Changes Schedule features to turn on/off based on time-of-day/day-of-week. Fall 2009
Storage of Phone Settings on the PennNet Phone Server  Some local settings, like contacts, can be stored securely on the PennNet Phone server. Fall 2009
Call Hunting Allow a call to move through a list of PennNet Phone numbers, advancing to the next upon ring no answer. Once all numbers have been exhausted the call goes to the original PennNet phone number's voice mail. Spring 2010
Support For Larger Ring Groups Adding the ability to create larger ring groups with potentially as many as 8 members or more. Spring 2010
