N&T: Order Management System: OMS

What is OMS?

The Order Management System (OMS) is a prototype of a full ordering service and is currently for high volume PennNet Phone migrations only. With OMS users are able to submit orders, manage order drafts, and track already submitted orders.

Some requests cannot be completed in OMS. These types of orders are listed below and should still be submitted to N&T using online order forms.

  • Adding an appearance of an existing number to an existing set
  • Removing a number from a set
  • Retiring a set
  • Installing a number with no associated set

Accessing the Application

PennNet Phone Support Providers are eligible to use OMS once they have attended a Getting to VoIP training session offered on the first Tuesday of each month in Sansom West's Bits and Pieces room. To register for this training, go to Penn Knowledge Link.

OMS Support Hotline

OMS users with questions about placing an order should call the OMS Support Hotline at 746-8311.
