Teleconference Calls

Note: As of June 3, 2008, University operator-assisted teleconferencing is no longer available. Customers needing to arrange teleconference calls involving more than 3 participants should use Verizon Business Teleconference Services. Verizon Business Teleconference offers more conference features that were not available via University operators, such as teleconferencing outside of business hours.

University faculty and staff have two options for setting up teleconference calls. Teleconference calls between 3 participants can be made from nearly all phone sets, most specifically our Polycom320, Polycom 500, the IP 6000 Polycom SoundStation conference phone, Single Line, Two Line, and Meridian Business Sets. You can also hold conference calls for up to 20 participants using Verizon Business Teleconferencing, our corporate partner in providing teleconferencing services. For service features, with links to instructions, please see the chart below.

To use Verizon's Business Teleconferencing, you must open an account in advance of your first conference call.
