Teleconferencing and Net Conferencing with Verizon Business

ISC Networking and Telecommunications has partnered with Verizon to provide flexible, affordable teleconferencing services. These services are available any day of the week and do not require that one of the participants be located at a University of Pennsylvania extension. Various service levels and conference access options are available to best suit your particular teleconferencing needs.

Registering with Verizon Business

In order to use Verizon Business's teleconferencing service, you need to set up a customer account in advance with our Verizon representative.

  • Registering a new account can take 24 - 48 hours.
  • Please email Verizon’s Bert Max the attached form to apply to set up your account. (Click the link to download the form. Then fill in the blanks and send it as an email attachment to Bert.)
  • If you need assistance in completing the form, contact Bert at 215-527-9556.

After registering with Verizon Business, you will receive an email from them with all of the information you will need to set up your own teleconferences. Please keep a copy of this information as you will need it each time you wish to set up a conference call. The email will include:

  • An Authorization Code
  • Your Instant Meeting subscription
  • A reserved toll-free number
  • Your leader and participant passcode

Scheduling Conference Calls

Once your account is set up, you can manage it on Verizon Business’s audio conferencing web site You can also use this link to find other resources such as Self-Paced Tutorials and Reference Guides on the left hand side under Customer Resources.

Instant Meeting
Simply contact all conference participants to schedule a call and provide them with your toll-free number and participant passcode.

Operator-Assisted or Reoccurring Calls
Contact Verizon Business Conferencing at 1-800-475-5000 to schedule a call.

Invoicing

Verizon is a University approved vendor. You will receive an invoice with your conference call charges payable to Verizon Business Conferencing within 30 days of a completed conference call.
