PennNet Authentication System: Authentication Issues

• Problem: You enter what you believe is your correct PennKey and password and you receive an error message that your authentication failed.

  You may have entered your PennNet ID/password or your email account username and password or you may have entered the numbers that appear in the bottom left-hand corner of your PennCard. What you need to enter is your PennKey and PennKey password.

• Problem: You are using an ISP like AOL, enter your PennKey and password and are taken right back to the login page.

  There are some technical issues authenticating while using an ISP like AOL or from behind a firewall.
