FTP Changes on www.upenn.edu: What changes do I need to make?

The following chart may be useful in understanding how security changes on WWW will impact the way Windows and Macintosh users manage and exchange files with the server beginning on October 14th:

WINDOWS

Install FileZilla 1.9.9

Install Fetch 4.0.2 Install Kerberos Ticket Manager Install Kerberos FTP Proxy Configure FTP software to use Kerberos Use web authoring software to manage websites completely (including synchronization and put features) Use web authoring software or text editors to edit local copies of web content. FTP to server using kerberized app. in conjunction with Kerberos Ticket Manager

I'm a Windows user who uses Dreamweaver to manage my content and post to WWW via "synchronize" and "put" functions.

 

 

 

 

I'm a Windows user who uses Dreamweaver to manage my content locally. I post to WWW via WS_FTP, Internet Neighborhood, Telnet FTP or other FTP application.

 

 

 

I'm a Windows user who uses notepad or other text editor to edit my content locally. I post to WWW via WSFTP, Internet Neighborhood, Telnet FTP or other FTP application.

 

 

 

I'm a Windows user who already uses Filezilla 1.9.9 to upload and download files from WWW
