Introduction to Single Sign-On
Single Sign-On (SSO) is a convenience feature of Penn WebLogin that helps
reduce the number of times you need to use your PennKey and password to
log in each day.
Once you successfully log in to a web resource that participates
in Single Sign-On, you have up to 10 hours to visit other pages and applications
protected by SSO without being required to log in again. Web resources
that participate in SSO will be marked by the SSO logo ( )
at or near the lower left corner of each page.
When using Single Sign-On, always remember
to shut down your web browser and sign off when your work is complete.
Since Single Sign-On behaves like an "all-access pass" for any participating
web resources that you are authorized to use, forgetting to sign out may
permit other people using same computer or device to gain access
to resources and information intended only for you.
