 ophy class. Topics discussed will include: picking engaging and rewarding 
 readings (and the right amount of them)\, gauging and addressing student n
 eeds and interests\, making and spacing assignments (for fair\, useful and
  efficient evaluation)\, and incorporating student driven elements (such a
 s discussions\, presentations\, debates and student chosen assignment topi
 cs).\nAll graduate students are welcome. This event grows out of concerns 
 in the Philosophy department and so may be most useful to students in rela
 ted fields.\nCounts toward the CTL Teaching Certificate.
