Thank you for your interest in the Center for Urban Redevelopment Excellence (CUREx).

Launched in 2003 with initial support from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation,
CUREx placed promising young professionals in fellowships with top redevelopment organizations nationwide.
Subsequent support from the Rockefeller Foundation and a partnership with the
University of New Orleans and the Greater New Orleans Foundation enabled the program to focus
on redevelopment efforts in New Orleans.

Over its history, approximately 80 fellows participated --
gaining valuable professional skills and networks, and contributing to revitalization efforts in the cities in which they worked.
With the conclusion of available funding, the program has ended as of October 1, 2010,
and is no longer accepting applications for the Fellowship programs.
