A distinguished Advisory Board guides the Center for Urban Redevelopment Excellence. Reflecting the interdisciplinary nature of urban development, the Board consists of a diverse group of professionals, including some of the following: attorneys, architects, planners, scholars, real estate developers, community development consultants, bankers, and foundation representatives.

The Advisory Board held its first meeting in April 2003. University of Pennsylvania President Judith Rodin was the keynote speaker at a reception held at the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology.
