James S. Grauley
is a Community Real Estate Development Executive for Bank of America
Community Development Corporation (CDC) and has served as President
of Bank of America CDC. His responsibilities include managing community
real estate development investment activities and other equity investment
activities focused on neighborhood revitalization and creation and
preservation of affordable housing. He oversees a current development
portfolio of some $250 million (2,200 units of mixed income and
affordable housing) in construction, located in 12 US cities.
Mr. Grauley has served in various capacities
with the Bank of America CDC since 1992, including founding the
Atlanta office and growing the business throughout the Southeast.
From 1999-2001 he served as CDC President and product executive.
Mr. Grauley’s previous experience with Bank of America was
as an M&A and market analysis project manager in Corporate Strategy
with Bank of America in Charlotte. Prior to joining the Bank, Mr.
Grauley had work experience as a consulting engineer and with a
residential development firm. He holds Bachelors degrees from Georgia
Tech and Covenant College, and a Masters degree in Business Administration
from the University of North Carolina. During 2001-2002 he was a
Loeb Fellow at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design.
